- Continuously maintain & monitor regulatory requirements at domestic & international levels.
- Act as the primary point of contact for regulatory agencies such as UL
- Assess possible changes to regulations and recommendations to mitigate and eliminate risks to the business.
- Maintain the PDM vault and control access.
- Maintain and Audit HTS Codes and ECCN Codes
- Gate keeper for various regulatory and agency websites
- Ensures compliance of the New Product Development Process to company standards.
- Support global PSG manufacturing sites to maintain continuity of compliance.
- Creating and updating policies and procedures to ensure products adhere to regulations and standards.
- Managing portions of the business management system to maintain compliance with ISO standards
- Supporting new product development through pre-launch compliance reviews to ensure new products adhere to existing and forthcoming standards.
- Representing the company during regulatory audits
- Collaborating with product development, legal, quality assurance, and other teams
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of compliance documentation and approvals
- Developing and maintaining technical documentation like Risk Assessments, Declarations of Conformity, etc.
- Monitoring and reporting on the implementation progress of new regulations
- Maintenance of UL and other files
- Maintain a standards library and ensure the latest versions of standards are on file.
- Coordinate projects with regulatory consultants and internal resources.
- Identifying potential compliance risks, conducting regular audits, and implementing corrective actions
- Providing guidance and recommendations to management on compliance-related matters
- Assessing the impact of new regulations on existing products and operations
- Identify market drivers and customer buying behaviors.
- Relevant bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
- In-depth experience with certifications and conformity assessment of products (CE, UKCA, USP, UL, REACH, RoHS, DBAM, and others
- Experience reading and understanding ISO standards; specific experience with ISO 9001:2015 is a plus.
- Proven knowledge of the legal and normative requirements for technical documentation of industrial products
- Minimum 2 years in a manufacturing environment
- Be well versed in the fields of international product directives, CE marking, product labeling, conformity assessment procedures, and material compliance.
- Experience with rotating machinery is preferred.
- Preference is for candidates to have experience with bulk liquid storage, fluid transport, or fluid distribution/retail, within chemical, process, power, industrial, oil & gas, or industrial gas industries.
