We are seeking a Senior Cost Manager to support large-scale data center construction projects in Atlanta. This role plays a critical part in driving operational excellence by overseeing cost management from planning through execution, while mentoring consultants and interfacing directly with client stakeholders.

- Deliver end-to-end cost control services, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, ensuring projects are delivered within financial targets.
- Lead and mentor a team of consultants; provide coaching, professional development, and support hiring as needed.
- Manage budget change controls, financial reporting systems, and forecasting processes across multi-phase projects.
- Develop client-facing reporting dashboards and presentations that provide transparency on cost performance.
- Conduct risk and change analysis, advising on mitigation strategies and recovery plans.
- Collaborate with scheduling, design, and procurement teams to ensure cost and schedule alignment.
- Act as the face of the team onsite in Atlanta, representing the company in client interactions and executive reviews.
- Must be based in Atlanta, GA with ability to work onsite at client offices and sites.
- Minimum of 5+ years of construction cost management experience; background in data centers or mission-critical projects strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to lead cost teams, develop reporting systems, and manage client-facing deliverables.
- Advanced knowledge of cost software tools and strong Microsoft Office skills.
- General contractor experience is highly valued; technology company backgrounds are also relevant if tied to data center or mission-critical projects.
- Strong leadership, communication, and presentation skills.
- 10+ years of experience in cost management on data centers, oil & gas, industrial, or mission-critical projects.
- Experience working with major contractors, engineering firms, or large technology organizations.
- Track record of mentoring teams and developing scalable cost management processes.
- Base Salary: $165,000 - $200,000 (higher for exceptional candidates, subject to approval).
