-ability to keep a calm demeanor-Technical lead by providing high-level support for all Client Bank critical systems and applications with zero or minimal downtime
- Oracle (Solaris) and Red Hat Linux Virtualizations,
- IBM WebSphere (versions from 3.X, 4.x, 5.x, 6, x, and 8.X) on both Solaris and Linux,
- IBM MQ (versions from 5. X, 6.X, and 9.X) on both Solaris and Linux,
- TREP (Thompson Reuters Enterprise Platform), RMDS (Reuters Markets Data System),DACS, Wombat Refinitiv
- Storage Provisioning using Client (3PAR) administration
- OS and Application Monitoring using FogLight and BMC Patrol
- Backup using Commvault, Veritas NetBackup (using Symantec appliances).
- Server provisioning using Client Opsware.
- Users and Server access provisioning using CentrifyDC.
- Informatica experience, hands-on installation, what it is/how it runs.- Install, configure, and maintain all hardware and software systems- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to the company's IT systems- Monitor system performance and make necessary adjustments to ensure optimal functioning- Conduct regular backups and ensure data integrity and security- Manage user accounts and permissions- Provide technical support to employees and assist with any IT-related queries or concerns- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and make recommendations for system improvements- Collaborate with IT team members to implement new systems and upgrades- Document system configurations and procedures for future reference- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to IT systems- Participate in disaster recovery planning and testingQualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Systems Administrator role- Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems- Experience with virtualization technologies, such as VMware or Hyper-V- Familiarity with networking concepts and protocols- Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery procedures- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills- Strong communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to work independently and in a team environment- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectivelyWe offer a competitive salary and benefits package, along with opportunities for professional development and growth within the company.
