Your Challenges:Cost-effective purchasing of suppliers worldwide on high quality production standard and on schedule.Complete processing of orders, which includes soliciting and processing of order confirmations, handling of shipments and duty formalities, etc.Negotiate and compare pricingEnsure timely delivery of supplies and materials supporting production schedules.Maintain Purchasing master data (e.g. supplier information, article data, regulatory information)Maintain planning of cost and non-cost items, release/change of purchase orders, processing material deficit reportsProcessing of discrepancies on incoming invoices and prepare invoices for approvalsAssist in processing change requests in the scope of purchasing responsibilitiesProcessing of complaints to suppliers and following corrective actions.Maintain purchasing policies and proceduresMaintain documentation control of all procurement related formsPreliminary work on statistics and reports (QlikView or Excel)Coordinate shipping/receiving department deliveries (packing slip discrepancies)Participate in projects within the scope of purchasingTraveling to local suppliers when necessaryYour Expertise:Associate or Bachelor’s degree in relevant field a plusFive+ years of experience in manufacturing supply chain, procurement/purchasing, expediting and/or delivery assuranceIntermediate to advanced Excel skillsSAP, LN-Infor ERP, MRP experience a plusEnergeticDriven and outgoingAbility to work and thrive in a fast-pace environmentYour benefits at EppendorfCompetitive total rewards package including health, financial, and education benefitsInnovative and Collaborative corporate cultureContribute to improving the human living condition
