- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited college or university (or evaluated as equivalent) + up to 2 years of experience in electrical design.
- Have passed or interested in taking Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam to become an EIT, and eventually a Professional Engineer (PE).
- Demonstrated interest or experience in electrical design for relevant electrical design engineering for the built environment in any of our Studios.
- Desire to learn and/or exposure of building, energy, and green codes.
- Interest in joining professional associations.
- Able to work both independently and in a team setting with appropriate training.
- Capable of organizing workflow and delegating tasks to others as appropriate.
- Commitment to client satisfaction and responsiveness.
- Motivated to excel and willing to learn.
- Possess good verbal and written communication skills.
- Exposure to/past experience with AutoCAD, Revit, or similar software is preferred.
- Able to travel to job sites and conduct site visits, including carrying equipment/materials; climbing, sitting, standing, walking, balancing; be exposed to the elements.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship. GHT participates in E-Verify.
