We are seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to join our Insulated Glass Department team as a Lead Production Assembler, at our Temecula, CA locaiton. We offer competitive wages, a supportive work environment, and opportunities for growth and development.The Lead Production Assembler in the Insulated Glass Department is responsible for overseeing the assembly of glass units according to specifications, ensuring quality control, and adhering to safety standards. This role involves leading and working collaboratively with team members to meet production goals.The hourly comp starts at $26.00 an hour, plus a $3.00 shift differential.This Position requires a start time of 4 PM, Monday through Friday, with overtime required.MITER Brands, including Milgard, MI Windows & Doors, and PGT Innovations, is one of the nation’s largest suppliers of vinyl windows and patio doors, with plants across the country. Responsibilities:
  • Lead the assembly of insulated glass units following detailed specifications and instructions.
  • Operate hand and power tools (e.g., drills, saws, screw guns) to cut, fasten, and assemble parts.
  • Inspect finished products for defects, ensuring they meet quality standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, enforcing safety procedures and guidelines.
  • Train, mentor, and support team members, promoting skill development and adherence to best practices.
  • Read and interpret assembly instructions and blueprints (training provided).
  • Stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous experience in manufacturing or assembly is a plus; leadership experience in these areas is highly desirable.
  • Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
  • Ability to read and interpret work orders and blueprints; ability to guide others in understanding these documents.
  • Competence in using hand and power tools safely and effectively; ability to supervise tool usage and ensure team compliance with safety protocols.
