- Lead Relationship Manager with a proven ability to gain a client's confidence and a growing share of the client’s wallet.
- Strong focus on gathering assets under management, deposits and loan production.
- Versed in banking, investments and fiduciary services with a proven ability to cross sell services.
- Acts as the quarterback for the team surrounding the client.
- Operates independently; has in-depth knowledge of business unit / function.
- Seasoned multi-disciplinary expert with extensive technical and / or business knowledge and functional expertise.
- Focus of role is on execution of strategic direction of business function activities.
- Carries out complex initiatives involving multiple disciplines and/or ambiguous issues.
- Displays a balanced, cross-functional perspective, liaising with the business to improve efficiency, effectiveness and productivity.
- At least 12 years in International Wealth Management with 10 plus years of experience as a Lead Relationship Manager.
- Has proven experience in client acquisition and has existing client relationships that will transition well to Northern Trust.
- Knowledge and expertise of doing business in Mexico and proper protocol pertaining to clients, travel, hosting events, etc.
- Multilingual, with excellent oral and written communication skills, specifically in English and Spanish.
- In-depth Functional / Industry Knowledge is required.
- Highly flexible and adaptable to change.
- Technical skills / systems knowledge (e.g. Peoplesoft) is required.
- Leadership and organizational skills are required to determine the Business Unit's goals, resources needed, and to assess and develop the skills of staff.
