Genesis10 is currently seeking an Application Programmer with our client in the financial industry located in Plano, TX. This is a 12+ month contract position.Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for developing and delivering complex software requirements to accomplish business goals
  • Ensure that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements
  • Serve as a fully seasoned/proficient technical resource
  • Will not have direct reports, however may provide technical leadership on projects and direct activities of a team related to projects
  • May collaborate with external programmers to coordinate delivery of software application
  • Routine accountability is for technical knowledge and capabilities
  • Work with minimal supervision, with general guidance from more seasoned team members
  • Interpret business requirements into design solutions and understand design and development of project lifecycle
  • Creation and maintenance of system, functional and reference documentation
  • Provide support during testing phases as required, analysis and recommend bug fixes for production incidents, performance tuning
  • Report root cause of the incidents and present ideas on how to prevent the incidents from occurring in future
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience
  • .Net Core, C# (3.5/4, Web application /4.5)
  • SQL – 2008/2012
  • Web Service/ WCF
  • Web development
  • MVC
  • GIT/Bitbucket
  • Jenkins
  • Linux
  • Windows 7
  • Strong communication skills
Desired skills:
  • Oracle (Oracle 11g or higher)
