At Fiserv, a successful Application Development - Sr Associate will be a committed and dedicated member of our entrepreneurial development team, creating custom add-ons and integrations to our core banking software. You will have the opportunity to work with our credit union and bank clients, addressing their needs and enhancing the efficiency of their operations by delivering high-quality software solutions in a collaborative environment.What you will do:
  • Develop and document software according to customer requirements
  • Assist in creating software development proposals and estimates
  • Ensure timely and quality delivery of finished products signed off by clients
  • Communicate effectively with clients, software developers, and business analysts
  • Research and correct software defects reported by clients
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure the successful completion of projects
  • Perform additional related projects as assigned
What you will need to have:
  • 2+ years of experience in PL SQL development
  • 2+ years of experience in C#.NET development
  • 2+ years of experience with Oracle SQR
  • Experience across the entire software development lifecycle
  • Bachelor's degree in the software development field of study and/or equivalent military experience
What would be great to have:
  • 2+ years of experience with real-time integration using Web Services/APIs
  • Knowledge/working experience with XML
  • Familiarity with Graphical User Interface design principles, especially Cards Based (UX) user interfaces
  • Experience in performance optimization diagnosis, tools, and techniques
  • Experience with retail banking processes for community banks and credit unions

  • This role is on-site Monday through Friday. Fiserv considers in-person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in-person office experiences help you with your overall onboarding experience and leads to stronger productivity.
