- Engage in phone and in-person interactions with the current customer base.
- Handle customer requests, agency management documentation, policy changes, billing inquiries, and general policy questions.
- Input client and carrier information into the HawkSoft agency management system for new business policy declarations, renewals, policy changes, and cancellations.
- Manage renewals for an existing commercial book of business.
- Conduct account rounding between commercial and personal lines clients.
- Participate in team office meetings focusing on various aspects such as new accounts, lost policies, workflow improvements, customer challenges, and claims.
- Schedule renewal meetings, policy reviews, consult on policy changes, obtain quotes from carriers, re-market policies, and negotiate with carriers as needed.
- Provide daily servicing of accounts, answer inquiries, and assist with claims.
- Minimum of 1 year of commercial insurance experience with an independent agency.
- Stable work history without frequent job changes.
- Possession of Property & Casualty Licenses.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications at an intermediate level (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Preferred experience using Agency Management System, specifically Hawksoft.
- Must work fully in the office as remote or hybrid work arrangements are not available.
- Familiarity with General Lines of Coverage Book of Business.
