The Pharmacy Technician assists the registered pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of sterile and non-sterile medications, including IV solutions, in conjunction with state and federal laws. Maintains records and inventory, and follows procedural work routines to ensure medications are ready and available for patient administration.Required:
Massachusetts Registration and Certification required.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Hospital pharmacy technician experience is strongly preferred. Sterile compounding experience is strongly preferred.
