Job Description:The MCR (HR) Manager will be responsible for partnering with the leadership team to ensure the identified member programs, activities and communications meet the needs of the members while continuing to support our business plan objectives. Office location will be at the 11th Ave manufacturing plant in Jasper and will support the Jasper Campus and the Danville, KY manufacturing plant as the MCR (HR) business partner.Responsibilities:
  • Create an MCR business partnering organization which supports a defined consistency across the Company
  • Focused on business partnering and decision support
  • Lead the MCR Generalist to be customer (member) first oriented
  • Support Organizational Design and development
  • Collaborate with leaders to understand future business direction, necessary org structure, gaps in development plans and link to MCR actions
  • Interview/select/on-boarding
  • Drives member engagement/communication
  • Accountable for communication and keeping appropriate members informed, involved and active in key initiatives
  • Drives Career Planning
  • Drives appropriate activities to ensure effective succession planning is in place
  • Accountable for effective organizational development and organizational effectiveness
  • Drives Learning and Development execution
  • Accountable for maintaining a high-performance oriented culture utilizing Performance Mgmt. Process – execution (not admin)
  • Drives Leave execution
  • Drives Exit execution
  • Drives and Leverages the available self-service
  • Drives Member relations/Labor relations execution
  • Manage MCR issues with respect for member and management
  • Responsible for identification and analysis of MCR measures to aid in building success
  • Learn and grow in order to contribute to individual and company success
  • Proven ability to demonstrate safe responsible behavior and a positive performance record.
  • Collaborates with other MCR Managers for best practices and most effective and efficient ways of working and supporting our employees
  • Leads and supports the MCR Generalist to support and partner with our members to be the employer of choice
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state and local employment law and regulations
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • 3 - 5 years of experience in an HR role, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
  • Strong understanding of labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to build trust and influence across all levels of the organization.
  • Motivates and empowers others to execute and strong ability to hold others accountable
  • Strong presentation, written, and verbal skills
  • Highly organized and able to prioritize with strong time management skills
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and priorities while delegating where appropriate
  • Excellent decision-making ability
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems (ADP, SAP, etc.) and proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Flexibility to travel and be available after hours
  • Travel will be required
