
Sr. Comp Consultant, Step Plan, On-Step Associate Compensation

- Consulting with business leaders on job evaluations using market data and internal evaluation.
- Conduct custom surveys with key industry contacts, as needed.
- Ensuring consistent and efficient execution of compensation programs and projects, delivering high-quality, scalable solutions within timelines.
- Proactively identifying and mitigating risks and obstacles by collaborating closely with business partners and key tech and non-tech stakeholders. This includes effectively communicating with, and influencing, senior stakeholders across multiple parts of the organization.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- A Bachelor's degree is required. Graduate degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in finance, compensation, or consulting with an in-depth knowledge of core compensation terminology and best practices.
- General compensation knowledge required.
- Proficiency in Excel Macros; familiarity with SQL, Power BI, Power Pivot and Tableau experience is preferred.
- Strong problem solving, communication, and presentation skills. The ideal candidate will be well organized and confident to work independently but will be a strong team player.
- Ability to create dynamic tools and models to interpret and analyze data. Ability to connect disparate data sources and operationalize tasks. Comfortable with large data sets.
- The ability to work independently, take on responsibility, and be nimble in a fast-paced, change-oriented environment.

The base pay for this position ranges from $121,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $201,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
