Our employee relationship managers support you throughout your engagement, providing career guidance and reemployment assistance.Our client is looking for a qualified Data Center Cable Technician to join their team onsite in Alpharetta, GA. This role is more physical in nature and along the lines of a cable tech. The ideal candidate will bring strong extensive experience in cable pulling, troubleshooting skills, and a solid background in data center operations. The Technician will be supporting a reclamation project. This role will be 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday. This is a contract role with a duration of 6 - 12 months.Duties and Responsibilities:Perform physical removal of data center hardware and infrastructuresExecute structured cabling tasks such as pulling cablesTroubleshoot and resolve hardware and connectivity issues as neededSupport asset reclamation and decommissioning effortsMaintain accurate documentation of work performedSkills and Qualifications:Proven experience working in a data center environmentStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsExtensive knowledge and hands-on experience with cable pullingAbility to work independently and follow detailed instructionsFamiliarity with data center best practices and safety standardsExperience with asset tracking and inventory systemsWage Range:
The rate for this position is between $24.19 to $35.50 per hour. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.Benefits:
