- Ensure equipment and facility is in good working order. Diagnose problems, replace, or repair parts, test equipment, and make arrangements to repair and/or replace damaged equipment.
- Performs general industrial maintenance including installation of appropriate equipment and devices to ensure proper operation, some being specific to the healthcare environment. Maintenance can include service and/or repair work on plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, motors, pumps, electrical systems, pneumatic tube systems, lighting, flooring, window coverings, walls and other systems.
- Accesses roof areas, basements, equipment rooms, tunnels, crawl spaces and other minimally accessible areas on a regular basis. Responds to facility emergencies to ensure minimal disruption to operations and to minimize facility damage. May include emergency duties such as fire control or flooding.
- Performs custodial services in facilities areas on a daily basis.
- Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and facilities.
- Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties.
- Purchase, re-order, and maintain adequate supplies and inventory of cleaning products.
- Manage snow removal and any other weather-related property maintenance.
- Manage Landscape and groundskeeping to ensure venue excellence.
- Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
- Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.

- Any other task as assigned by the Operations Manager.
- Conduct pre-event inspections of all venue areas, prior to opening to ensure all areas are in safe condition and working order.
- Work with Special Events Director and Operations Manager to set the venue for each event’s specific needs.
- Partner with fellow crew members at the end of show to close the venue - this may include collecting trash from the venue, picking up and properly storing event equipment, etc.
- Show CARE by participating in the venue’s sustainability program which could include implementing programs that conserve resources/prevent waste such as sorting waste and collecting recycling and educating our fans about our efforts.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Vocational or Technical certification and 1 year experience, or 2 years total work experience, in one of the following trades: plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related trade
- Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite
- Attention to detail, quality and accuracy
- Cash handling skills
- Strong relationship building and communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be highly motivated and able to work independently.
- Position requires constant walking, climbing stairs, lifting and carrying 50 lbs+ and occasional sitting.
