- Group Facilitation - Provides direct services to clients, which includes case management and facilitation of client groups with clients and families. Requires establishing and maintaining professional client relationships, motivating clients, effectively managing conflict, and consistent delivery of high quality services. Plans and documents rosters, lesson plans, coordination of presenters, and logistics of group sessions and outcomes. Monitors inventory of supplies and equipment necessary for group programming.
- JIAC Support - Assists with JIAC intake and assessment functions to include: interviews clients utilizing motivational interviewing skills; fingerprint processing; mug shots; and as necessary, DNA. Performs pat down searches and screening with metal detectors to prevent weapons from entering the facility. Schedules and completes voluntary assessments and appointments.
- Case Management - Monitors clients released with conditions as an alternative to detention. Completes necessary documentation to provide a summary of alternative conditions accepted and their outcome into the department's data tracking system within the required timeframes. Receive and communicate concerns, problem-solve and maintain positive working relationships with supervision officers, staff members in other departments/programs and community agencies.
