$$$: $80–106k baseWe have partnered up with a rapidly growing company in the solar panel space on adding a new Quality Engineer to join their growing team. They are adding a new business unit creating some new openings in the quality space. This individual will become a quality subject matter expert and will be the technical voice with their commercial customer base.Key Duties & Responsibilities:Act as the primary quality representative in direct communications with commercial customers, including on-site support as needed.Investigate, diagnose, and resolve technical quality issues related to solar products deployed in the field.Perform root cause analysis and develop corrective/preventive action plans (CAPA) in collaboration with engineering, manufacturing, and customer teams.Lead quality assessments during product returns, warranty claims, and customer complaints.Track and analyze field performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.Partner with internal teams to develop and refine quality standards for new and existing solar products.Support customer qualification processes and audits by preparing documentation and presenting technical findings.Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product reliability and customer satisfaction.Maintain strong understanding of industry and regulatory standards affecting solar panel systems and installations.Prepare detailed technical reports, presentations, and documentation for both internal and external stakeholders.Qualifications:
- Need to be a certified auditor
- Need a SIx Sigma Belt Certification (Yellow, Green, or Black)
- At least 2 years of quality engineering experience
