
Sr. Manager of Accounting

- Lead the day-to-day accounting of royalties globally across Hasbro.
- Partner with business operations and finance business partners to ensure royalty accounting is aligned to business and operational needs.
- Lead continuous improvement and modernization efforts across royalty system and business process to ensure an efficient system and business processes.
- Provide overall support and analysis to executive management by investigating accounting questions, issues, and judgments and by partnering with team members from other business divisions to assist with accounting questions.
- Act as a key liaison to the external auditors to assist in their completion of an efficient audit.
- Lead the successful completion of royalty audits with third party customers and vendors.
- Build relationships and regular communication with operational leaders to provide direct and timely assistance on matters that have accounting and reporting implications.
- Complete ad hoc projects assigned by senior management, including analysis of business operations, proposed accounting treatment, or other accounting and finance-related matters.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required, Certified Public Accountant designation is preferred.
- 7-10 years of hands-on experience in accounting and finance roles of increasing responsibility.
- Minimum 5 years public accounting experience and/or public company experience. Big 4 experience preferred.
- Must possess a strong knowledge of US GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.
- Ability to succeed in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and meet deadlines.
- Reviews performance and progress on a regular basis to ensure the team is achieving results.
- Demonstrated success in the development of staff and others toward improved skills, independence, and self-initiative.
- Ability to earn trust and credibility within the organization, and capable of developing effective business relationships with all members of the company’s senior leadership team.
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to make sound business decisions.
- Starting Pay Range: $108,400
- Pay Range End: $162,600
