- Assesses current process and state of our technical training at all Pl. Develops the related implementation plan in conjunction with the production, shop and quality leaders and monitors progress against this plan.
- Develops training programs and objectives for all technical competencies within PI in collaboration with the technical training team.
- Manages direct reports responsible for implementing and delivering training initiatives.
- Obtains and/or develops effective training materials utilizing a variety of media and methods of instruction.
- Trains and coaches the leaders and others involved in technical development efforts.
- Develops and maintains communications to ensure team members are aware of training events and resources. Ensures that preparations are made to utilize training time effectively.
- Conducts follow-up activities of all completed training to evaluate and measure
- Coordinates training at all five US-based facilities to ensure quality and consistency in training modules.
- Understands the needs and constraints of audience and leaders to modify programming as needed.
- Exemplifies the Pl culture and philosophies of the organization with unyielding
- Works effectively as a team member with other members of management and the HR
- Ensures individual training plans are in place and progressing for each technical team
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline.
- Five years of experience designing and implementing training and/or employee development programs.
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Ability to implement and drive change at various organizational levels.
- Strong presentation skills
- Adept with a variety of multimedia training platforms and methods.
- Ability to evaluate and research training options and alternatives.
- Ability to design and implement effective training and development.
- Familiar with working in a multi-cultural environment and accustomed to working with people from a variety of backgrounds.
- Available to travel up to 50% with expectation of 20% on average.
