Job DetailsJob Location: Corporate Office (22) - Beaumont, TXSalary Range: UndisclosedDescriptionPosition Purpose:As the Vendor Pricing Specialist, you will be a member of the Product Information Department and mainly responsible for updating our vendor pricing. You will work with a cross functional team to update a subset of assigned vendors pricing files. You support the business needs to continually update supplier price changes and identify new items for content upload by working with the digital product team members.Primary Accountabilities/Responsibilities:
  • Key to this position is to learn the Pricing Software tool (SPI). Assist in maintaining Manufacturer Pricing while ensuring its alignment to our ERP system with standards and best practices as defined through the SPI pricing platform.
  • Prioritize weekly vendor price updates to complete for buyer approval
  • Manage your vendor pricing updates to the deadlines required to stay on task
  • Create new codes for one off requests at the branches
  • Create “Quick-Hit” keyword codes sent in by the branches
  • Enter daily corrections to vendor and item pricing for out of cycle requests
  • Work with buyers and key stakeholders to identify the solutions that meet their needs
  • Work through buyers to hold vendors accountable to ensure quality standards are met
  • Maintains prompt and regular attendance.

Vendor Pricing Specialist:MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITIES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • 60% – Uploading vendor full price files into SPI Pricing Software based on effective dates and buyer priorities. Identify new and obsolete Items.
  • 20% – Learn the new pricing system. Build system knowledge and expertise by participating in training classes and executing project work.
  • 10% – Daily updates for new item requests, item corrections, keyword creation for buyer/branch immediate needs.
  • 10% - Learn the basics of our Product Information System (PIM) that supports our website.
Location :Onsite at our Service office in the Edison Plaza Downtown office building. Onsite training with existing pricing team members.Work office located in Beaumont Texas.
