- Leads the planning and execution of a new peer-to-peer volunteer fundraising program focused on engaging affinity groups, athletics, reunions and other communities.
- Works within the peer-to-peer platform to monitor performance, and equip volunteers with training, onboarding, and stewardship resources.
- Deploys volunteers strategically around key fundraising moments, especially Day of Giving, while also supporting student and campus involvement through partnerships with groups like the Student Government Association (SGA), Hillel, Black Student Union (BSU), Athletics, and others.
- Collaborates with the Senior Director of Annual Giving and Development staff to plan and execute the Annual Fund calendar.
- Assists in setting goals, developing multi-channel strategies, and generating compelling content (including copywriting) for a matrix of coordinated annual giving communications-spanning email, direct mail, phone, social media, personal outreach, and volunteer engagement.
- Manages a portfolio of donors and prospective donors to support both solicitation and volunteer engagement goals.
- Conducts direct solicitations of alumni, students, parents, and friends of the University.
- Travels as needed for in-person meetings with volunteers, donors, and campus partners. Encourages participation in campus events and volunteer opportunities.
- Partners with the Senior Director of Donor Relations to steward annual giving volunteers and donors.
- Identifies, recruits, and supports volunteers engaged in the development process. Assists in managing student workers and the Philanthropy Ambassadors program.
- Collaborates with Advancement Communications to contribute to the development of publications and outreach materials aligned with University branding and fundraising priorities.
- Partners across teams to ensure messaging and materials support annual giving goals and elevate the University's public image.
- Represents the Office of Development and Alumni Affairs at major campus events, including Hawktober, Commencement, Family Weekend, and Day of Giving, supporting the University's broader engagement goals.
- Supports additional projects and responsibilities as needed in alignment with the University's mission and strategic priorities.
- Performs all duties in full support of the University's mission, understanding that the positive and effective execution of these duties are instrumental to the education of the University's students.
Working ConditionsNormal office situation. Requires travel, including overnight stays.
EducationBachelor's Degree Required
Physical EffortTypically sitting at a desk or table. Moderate lifting or carrying 25 lbs or less.

- Experience with databased and technology to track, engage and market to alumni. GiveCampus experience preferred.

- Demonstrated creativity and strategic thinking, with the ability to take initiative.
- Knowledge of how to use complex databases and technology to track, engage and market to alumni.
- Ability to relate comfortably to a diverse base of constituents
