
Night Shift Supervisor

- In this role you will organize, lead, and facilitate efforts on night shift to ensure objectives and goals are met within the Advanced Materials business
- You will monitor and adjust operational functions to ensure commitments are met by anticipating production (and non-production) problems, developing contingency actions, and resolving critical issues
- Further, you will develop, manage, and continuously track annual and periodic production budgets and adjust as necessary
- Additionally, you will assume the ultimate responsibility of employee safety, product quality, manufacturing schedule and on-time delivery metrics for the production and quality team on night shift
- You will have the opportunity to contribute to short and long-term organizational planning and strategy as a member of the management team
- You will work to maintain solid communication between a cross-functional team to ensure production related issues are promptly addressed and appropriate corrective actions implemented
- Minimum BS/BA with 4+ years of experience OR MS/MA/MBA with 2+ years of experience OR 7+ years of related operational and/or supervisory related experience with broad knowledge of principles and practices within operations
- It is preferred that you will have 5-10 years of direct experience with powder manufacturing and production
- It is preferred that you have experience with material testing and analysis to ensure seamless testing of products throughout the off-shift hours
- Required to work night shift with flexibility between the hours of 6pm-6am
- You should be able to demonstrate strong decision-making and business judgement skills
- You are self -directed and can organize and prioritize tasks to meet business objectives
- Hazardous Work Permit (HWP / PTW) certified
- You will have the ability to work all shifts and weekends as necessary to support production
