- Design and analyze plumbing and fire protection systems for various types of facilities.
- Produces plumbing construction documents for various types of facilities.
- Coordinate between multiple disciplines and attend regular meetings.
- Perform computer-aided drafting using Revit and design for various projects.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or Certified Plumbing Designer (CPD) certification.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in plumbing and fire protection system design for commercial, office, healthcare, hospitality, educational, institutional, industrial, and other similar building types.
- Understanding of NFPA 99, ASHRAE 170, and the FGI Guidelines as they specifically apply to hospitals, ambulatory surgical centers, and medical office buildings.
- Experience in design of Medical Gas systems is preferred.
- Proficiency in the following software is preferred: Revit, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office products.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work independently are crucial.
