  • You will develop solutions to support mitigation and resolution of information technology (IT) customer complaints on computer issues.
  • You will diagnose computer and network issues for customer information technology (IT) reported incidents.
  • You will maintain network workstations and peripherals through the installation, testing, and configuration of equipment.
  • You will troubleshoot application software components to determine compatibility with systems and system interfaces.
  • You will manage operating systems patches, upgrades, and releases to improve existing systems.

  • This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.
  • You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
QualificationsYour resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Developing and interpreting policies, procedures, and strategic governing the planning and delivery of services throughout the command; 2) Providing expert technical advice, guidance, and recommendations to management and other technical specialist on critical IT issues; 3) Applying new development to previously unsolvable problems; and 4) Making decisions or recommendations that influence agency IT policies or programs.
