
Sales Specialist – Histology Instruments

- The Sales Specialist will achieve annual product sales goals set for the territory while working in coordination with the local assigned team within their territory. In addition, the associate will maintain accurate and timely opportunity funnel and customer data in SFDC with coaching as needed.
- The associate will achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through delivery of sales and support assistance and coordinate product demo, installs, and customer training with support from manager and/or mentor.
- Work with prospective and current customers to increase Leica Biosystems' influence and presence across territories.
- Monitor and develop awareness of competitive activities and strategies, utilize Strategic Selling tools (Blue sheets) with mentorship and guidance.
- Develop on products, DBS, LBS Tools (such as DOMO, Showpad, Territory Business Reviews).
- Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science OR equivalent work experience
- Minimum 3+ years relevant sales experience (or equivalent work experience)
- Proven time management skills
- Proven contract negotiation and high-level selling experience or selling in a matrixed environment.
- Experience with Salesforce.com or other CRM software; Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Ability to travel 50-75%; overnight for territory coverage (if applicable) and/or for company meetings
- Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
- Prior capital sales experience
