Job Summary:Our client is local to Kansas City, MO and is a full-service architecture firm providing innovative design solutions for the real world; specializing in the retail, mixed-use, office, restaurant and hospitality markets. The Project Manager is responsible for exercising independent judgment in evaluating, selecting, and applying standard techniques.Project Manager Experience:
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Architecture required.
  • 8-12+ years of professional experience.
  • Architectural license prefered.
Project Manager Requirements:
  • Advanced knowledge of design, trends, construction methodology, material application, and manufacturer-supplier appropriateness.
  • Experience in relative project types prefered but not required.
  • Advanced knowledge of architectural building systems.
  • Advanced knowledge of building codes and ability to research and apply/incorporate into technical documents.
  • Proficiency in Revit required.
Project Manager Responsibilities:
  • Leads team in planning work and developing solutions to technical and design detail problems
  • Establish, maintain, and adhere to project budget and schedule.
  • Prepares client presentations and presents design concepts and drawings.
  • Ensures that construction detail documentation conforms to quality assurance and best practice standards.
  • Communicates with client representatives to verify design requirements and specifications, progress reviews and delivery of final presentation.
  • Mentors and directs the work of less experienced staff and professionals.
Project Manager Compensation:
  • Negotiable depending upon experience.
