SummaryThe Child Development Center located withing RCOC is a well-respected child care center in Racine, serving (caring for, educating, working with, etc.) both typically developing and special needs children ages 0 weeks through 14 years. We are dedicated to meeting every child at their developmental level through play, while meeting the family's needs by connecting them to community resources. The Child Development Center is looking for a highly motivated teacher to join our amazing team.Pay is based on Wisconsin Registry Level and certifications.This is an excellent opportunity to join a friendly, vibrant, and dynamic team environment.DutiesResponsibilities include:
  • Meeting the health and safety needs of all students
  • Ongoing observations, portfolios and assessments
  • Establishing and maintaining positive child and parent communications
RequirementsWe are looking for a passionate person with:
  • Registry Level 7 or higher
  • Assistant and Lead Child Care Teacher certification, or willing to complete within 6 months
  • Availability to work Monday through Friday 11:30-5:30 or 7:00-1:00 with a Level 7 or higher on the Registry and a strong knowledge and background working with 3k and 4k children.
  • Abailability to work Modnay through Friday 11:30 to 5:30 in our infant room with a Level 7 or higher on the Registry.
