This role focuses on designing, building, and maintaining automated network and security solutions across one of the world's largest hub-and-spoke multi-cloud environments.The engineer will partner with network architects, security teams, and DevOps engineers to automate processes for firewalls, load balancers, and connectivity across Azure, AWS, and GCP. This role requires strong programming, automation, and infrastructure skills, combined with hands-on experience supporting enterprise firewalls (Palo Alto), load balancers (F5, cloud-native), and cloud networking.Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain network automation solutions using Python, Ansible, Terraform, and related tools.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineering, and operations teams to automate deployment, configuration, and management of multi-cloud networking and security services.
  • Implement automation workflows for Palo Alto firewalls, F5 load balancers, and cloud-native network services (Azure, AWS, GCP).
  • Build and test automation code to validate against functional requirements.
  • Troubleshoot complex network issues in automated and traditional environments, providing timely solutions.
  • Integrate network automation with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins).
  • Manage and optimize Ansible Automation Platform playbooks, roles, and inventory.
  • Document automation processes, procedures, and troubleshooting steps for knowledge reuse.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of DevOps practices, including monitoring, feedback loops, and retrospectives.
  • Stay current with emerging automation technologies in multi-cloud networking and security.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 6+ years of total IT experience, including 3+ years automating enterprise or cloud network environments.
  • Strong programming/scripting skills in Python, with proficiency in Bash, PowerShell, or JavaScript.
  • Experience working with RESTful APIs and JSON for automation and integrations.
  • Proven experience with network automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
  • Hands-on experience with:
  • Palo Alto firewalls (Panorama, Prisma, policy automation)
  • F5 load balancers (LTM, GTM, iRules, automation with APIs/Ansible)
  • Cloud-native firewalls and load balancers (Azure, AWS, GCP)
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, routing, switching, VPNs, hybrid connectivity).
  • Experience with CI/CD tools and integrating network automation into DevOps pipelines.
  • Proficiency in Linux environments and troubleshooting via the command line.
  • English language proficiency (written and spoken).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Multiple cloud certifications (Azure, AWS, GCP).
  • Experience building cloud-native and hybrid network architectures.
  • Familiarity with software-defined networking (SDN) solutions.
  • Experience deploying servers, network devices, and automation scripts/apps in enterprise-scale environments.
  • Knowledge of object-oriented design principles applied to infrastructure automation.
  • Exposure to AI/ML-enabled monitoring and optimization tools in network/security domains.
  • Strong collaboration skills across global teams in multi-geography delivery models.
