Make a difference every day by joining CCRES as a Head Start Child Development Assistant!SUMMARY:The Head Start Child Development Assistant will work on assignment with the Chester County Intermediate Unit (CCIU) in the Head Start program to provide direct support in the classroom environment, implements lessons, and activities as directed by the lead teacher.
Available Center-based Location:
Gordon Early Literacy Center: 351 Kersey St, Coatesville, PA 19320 (8am-4pm)
Schedule: 190 day position following school calendar year
8am-4pm, 7.5 paid hours per day on full school day

10 paid sick days for those working full schedule (prorated based on hire date)
The hourly pay-rate is $24.74 per hour
RequirementsEDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or equivalency and willingness to obtain a child development associate (10 credits) in 2 years
Previous experience in childcare setting with the demonstrated ability to relate well to children - preferred
CREDENTIALS:(Clearances current within 12 months)
PA Child Abuse (Act 151) Clearance
PA Criminal (Act 34) Clearance
PA Department of Education FBI – Use code 1KG6XN
TB Screening (current within 3 months)
Education Documentation - Diploma OR Official Transcripts
