- Leadership: As Senior Manager to an AI Governance engineering team, you will align efforts with the company's broader goals and ensure the roadmap is executed successfully.
- Technical Guidance: Offer technical mentorship and guidance to the engineering team, fostering skill development and overcoming technical challenges.
- Team Management: Build and maintain a collaborative and motivated team environment, enhancing productivity and morale.
- Resource Management: Prioritize tasks and manage resources efficiently to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality work.
- Innovation and Improvement: Drive innovation by encouraging the exploration of new technologies and methodologies and implement processes for continuous improvement.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between the team and other stakeholders, ensuring clear and effective communication and regular updates on progress.
- Scalability and Reliability: Ensure that our core services and AI platform integrations are scalable and reliable, maintaining operational excellence.
- AI Evolution: Stay current with the latest advancements in AI, ensuring the team is up-to-date and the product remains at the forefront of technology.
- Product Roadmap Influence: Play a role in influencing the future product roadmap, aligning it with emerging trends and customer needs.
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 12 years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years in a management role.
- Technical Skills: Strong technical background in AI and software development. Experience working with cloud data platforms like Databricks, Snowflake, etc. Full life-cycle experience using ML/AI Ops systems like AWS Sagemaker or Google Vertex. Experience building and scaling large cloud native distributed systems.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and manage a team, with great interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to provide strategic direction and align team efforts with company goals.
- Innovation: Demonstrated ability to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
- Operational Excellence: Experience in ensuring scalability and reliability of core services and platform integrations.
- Exposure to AI governance or Privacy domain.
