
Supply & Demand Planning Manager

- Serve as a bridge between business strategy, engineering build plans, and operational supply chain execution
- Build demand planning models based on market data and “what if” scenarios that analyze new product introductions
- Partner with Manufacturing Operations to enable planning for factory capacity based on demand projections, consolidate risks, and help drive prioritization between competing requirements in the event of supply constraints
- Forecast demand and report on whether projected supply plans can meet the needs of the company. Define and measure factory key performance measurement metrics such as forecast accuracy, fulfillment rate, etc
- Lead supply & demand planning work process improvements and find opportunities for implementation of process efficiency improvements to ensure the processes are scalable
- Manage clear-to-build (CTB) to have visibility into material coverage, highlighting issues between projected coverage and constraints, to ensure that demand from all sources is supported appropriately
- Engage with Engineering and Strategic Sourcing Managers (SSM) teams to kick off material readiness for NPI initiatives
- Consolidate risk release data to ensure orders are being placed on time and issues are transparent to the company and executives during NPI phase
- Identify excess and obsolescence (E&O) and other material risks, along with mitigations to reduce E&O exposure
- Prepare and communicate critical materials updates at weekly reviews, maintain executive reports and summaries, and provide accurate and timely data to leadership on a weekly basis
- Bachelor's degree with minimum 6+ years of professional experience, including experience in supply & demand management and/or materials management
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting to executive management and large, cross-functional groups
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to evaluate and analyze data to enable operational decision-making
- MBA or Master's Degree in Supply Chain or Operations Management preferred
- Experience in NPI Operations and/ or consumer electronics preferred
- Experience with MRP/ERP is a plus
- Advanced modeling skills, with a particular focus on MS Excel, VBA, SQL, Tableau, or similar data visualization tools, are preferred
