Position Overview:The Northwest Tri-County Intermediate Unit (IU5) has a need for Substitute Teacher's Aides in our special education classes in Erie, Warren, and Crawford Counties for the 2023 - 2024 SY. The job of the Teacher's Aide is to assist the teacher and reinforce the instruction taught in the classroom to students. The hourly rate is based on the individual district substitute rates (ranging from approximately $9.00- $16.44 per hour) of where each classroom is located.Required Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent.Successful applicants will be required to submit acceptable PA Child Abuse Clearance, PA Criminal History Clearance and Federal History Clearance as well as complete forms Act 168 for current employer and any previous employer where the applicant worked directly with children.
