We are hiring an EPCBS Configuration Analyst responsible for all aspects of an Oracle Enterprise Planning and Budgeting Cloud Services (EPBCS) implementation including requirements gathering, application design, application configuration, client mentoring and training, and application administration as part of a complex, largescale Oracle Cloud transformation project. Qualified candidates will be able to demonstrate 5+ years of hands on technical experience with Hyperion, Essbase, Planning and/or PBCS, with at least one full cycle EPBCS implementation under their belt. This resource will collaborate with our EPCBS Functional lead and system integrator (Deloitte) to design, build, document, test, deploy, and change manage next generation planning and budgeting solution.
EPCBS Configuration Analyst Responsibilities:
\t * Development and administration of EPBCS / Hyperion budget and planning tool in support of the Finance organization including implementation of Essbase cubes in an EPBCS environment.
\t * Support of budget / planning income statement and workforce planning EPBCS cubes.
\t * Administration of current state EPBCS environment in support of rolling budget / forecast models.
\t * End user training, report writing and support.
\t * Regularly interface with business users to analyze requirements, write functional specifications, configure the solution, develop functional and performance test scripts, and troubleshoot functional and technical issues.
\t * Build complex reports using Oracle reporting tools and other BI/Analytic tools against Oracle Fusion Cloud ecosystem.
\t * Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills and Experience:
\t * 5+ years of hands on functional and technical experience developing and administering Hyperion, Essbase, Planning and/or PBCS, with at least one full cycle Oracle Enterprise Planning & Budgeting Cloud Service (EPBCS) implementation.
\t * Expert knowledge of accounting processes, workflows and terminology, including driver based planning and how it is implemented within an Oracle EPCBS environment, planning, budgeting and forecasting business processes, P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow development across multiple industries.
\t * Demonstrated expertise authoring reports and dashboards using Oracle's reporting tools including SmartView, Hyperion Financial Reports (HFR), OBIEE, BI Cloud, Oracle Analytic Cloud and other packaged BI/data visualization tools (Tableau, Business Objects or Cognos).
\t * Able to advise users on best practices in planning, budgeting and forecasting.
\t * Self-motivated and proactive with excellent problem solving, critical thinking and team / collaboration skills that enable you to be successful both working independently with minimal supervision while ensuring your team maintains visibility and connection to the big picture.
\t * Capable of connecting with audiences at every level and experience domain via strong storytelling, presentation and communication (written and verbal) skills to decisively make decisions, build influence and gain buy-in from executives, stakeholders, peers, and team members.
\t * End-to-end lifecycle development and implementation experience including requirements gathering, configuration, design, build, test, and go-live phases.
\t * Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or Information Systems or equivalent professional working experience.
