We’re seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Japanese Translator to support cross-language communication and general HR activities in a manufacturing setting. This individual will provide written and verbal translation, while also assisting with front office and departmental tasks.Duties and Responsibilities:
Translate written and spoke communication between Japanese and English for individuals and groups
Proofread translated content to ensure accuracy in grammar, tone, and meaning
Use translation tools and reference materials to maintain quality and consistency
Support internal teams by conveying messages clearly and culturally appropriately
Assist with onboarding, training, and employee communications as needed
Handle administrative tasks such as mail distribution, front desk coverage, and answering calls
Support HR with confidential documentation, scheduling, and special projects
Qualifications:
Proven history as a translator, interpreter, or similar role
Fluent in Japanese and English, technical terms required
preferred 5+ years of manufacturing experience
