TalentFish is casting a line for an Azure Cloud Architect! This is a Direct Hire role located in NYC OR WDC (Remote).This position exists to design, implement, and optimize secure, scalable, and resilient Azure-based solutions that align with the firm's compliance, risk, and operational objectives. The Azure Cloud Architect will partner with cross-functional teamsInfrastructure, Enterprise Applications, Security, and Complianceto ensure the firm's Azure environment meets evolving industry and regulatory standards.What You Bring to the Role (Ideal Experience)7+ years of experience in IT infrastructure or cloud environments, with at least 4 years focused on Azure cloud architectureExpertise in deploying and optimizing Azure services such as networking (VNet, NSG, Azure Firewall), identity (Entra ID), compute (VMs, AVD), and storage (Blob, Disk, Files)Strong scripting and Infrastructure-as-Code skills using PowerShell and DevOps pipelinesFamiliarity with Microsoft Purview, Intune, Conditional Access, and Zero Trust frameworksProven experience in regulated or security-sensitive environmentsBachelor's degree or equivalent; advanced degree preferred * Certifications such as:Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions ArchitectMicrosoft Certified: Azure Security EngineerCISSP or equivalentWhat You'll Do (Skills Used in this Position)Develop and implement Azure cloud infrastructure using automation and Infrastructure-as-CodeDefine and enforce tagging, cost control, IAM, and governance strategiesPartner with internal teams to support Azure migrations and day-to-day operationsGuide security implementations including Azure Policy, Key Vault, PIM, and Security CenterSupport incident response, security audits, and cloud risk assessmentsDrive continuous improvement through the evaluation of new Azure services and optimization strategiesEnsure compliance with frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, and industry-specific regulationsCompensation Information
The expected salary range for this position is $150,000-$200,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. This role also offers comprehensive benefits, including health insurance, a 401(k) plan, and paid time off. TalentFish is committed to pay transparency and equal opportunity.
