The School Bus Aide - Substitute works on an as-needed and as-available basis.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or equivalent or passing score on literacy test given by MCPS
Ability to understand and follow verbal and written communication
Have sufficient strength and ability to move, lift and secure students in car seats weighing up to 50 lbs; assist students weighing 60-150 lbs. to exit the bus through the emergency door, and to assist other students if necessary
Must successfully complete the required training course for school bus aides
Dependability and punctuality required
