CT:Associates Degree (AA) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school. Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program for Radiology
New York State License (L.R.T.).
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. (ARRT and current CT certification) for all CT roles
MRI:
Graduate of an AMA/J.C.E.R.T. approved program in Radiologic Technology.
Strong background in cross sectional anatomy, physical sciences and M.R. physics.
2 years experience in MRI. (Preferred)
NY State License in Diagnostic Radiology
A.R.R.T. MRI registry.
BCLS Certified
CAT/MRI:
Completion of an accredited Radiology Program
All CT/MRI technologists are required to be DOH certified to inject iv contrast.
Certified to inject technologists must be able to complete injection tasks as to protocol.
