Responsible for all requesting and tracking all purchase orders for media, brand and marketing expenses within the department.
Supporting operations team and external partners on AR reports, expense tracking and approvals for fast moving projects.
Provides support on key accounting metrics and operational procedures to foster accuracy on month end reporting.
Participates in the budget planning sessions with various internal teams to support accurate record keeping.
Assists with the preparation of weekly and monthly internal tracking reports.
Researches invoice, purchase order, accrual reports, deferred schedules and forecasts for accurate ledgers.
Works with the Marcom operations team, finance and accounting department to align reports and results.
Researches and leads process improvement and standardization projects by identifying risk areas and recommendation for improvements.
Project management on implementation of new platforms and tools needed for reporting and dashboards.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.Education Level: Bachelors Degree or Equivalent
Field of Study: Accounting, Finance, Business managementYears of Experience:
Generally requires 3-5 years related experience.
Strong analytical and organizational skills.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple concurrent tasks and deadlines.
Strong PC skills with proficiency in Excel and Word, and experience in other Microsoft Office applications.
General Knowledge of Marketing and advertising expense terms helpful.
Prior financial analyst/general accounting experience in a marketing or advertising environment preferred
Financial and business operations within Marketing Communications focused heavily on accounting efforts
Responsible for Purchase order requests, processing and tracking for marketing, advertising and media teams.
