This role works to ensure the proper filling of these orders in compliance with hospital policies and procedures and adhering to the pharmacy rules and regulations. The Pharmacy Coordinator works with PHD pharmacy to ensure all policies and procedures are followed and up-to-date. The pharmacy coordinator is responsible for reading, interpreting, and entering physician’s orders. This role checks all orders prepared by the pharmacy technician or the pharmacy intern before they leave the pharmacy to assure high quality and care for patients and customers.QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduate from school of pharmacy required
Required Experience/Skills License to as a Pharmacist in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania required
Preferred Experience/Skills One year in pharmacy environment preferred.
Microsoft Office skills
