Axiom Staffing is recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Technician:- Candidate must have 3-5 years of relevant manufacturing experience in plastics or similar area, strong mechanical skills, good working knowledge of MS Office and SAP- 3rd shift, permanent placement opportunity- Duties include, but not limited to:Ensure the safe and efficient operation of all equipment to meet or exceed company established OEE expectations and customer quality expectationsFollow Lockout/Tag out PolicyProactive in addressing unsafe conditions on production equipmentProcess production equipment and maintain documentation to support process changesProactive in addressing inefficiencies of production equipmentPerform maintenance tasks as outlined by Maintenance ManagerUse power tool equipment in the shop in a safe manner to avoid injury or harm to self or other employeesPerform scheduled preventative maintenance tasks as outlined by Maintenance ManagerProactive in addressing machine inefficiencies during PMsEvaluate operator checklist and comments prior to performing preventative maintenance to ensure all causes for production inefficiencies are addressed and correctedEnsure equipment is clean and in “showroom condition” after preventative maintenance is performed on production equipmentContinually evaluate equipment for improvement areas. Tag components or parts that need repair, replacement or improvement as outlined in the TPM guidelinesPerform changeovers with limited downtimeEnsure production equipment is in safe and efficient operation after each changeoverPerform building maintenance as directed by managementMaintain sufficient records to support the SAP parts management by recording parts removed from inventoryIND503
