- Oversee PLM activities, including BOM creation, maintenance, and updates for new and existing products.
- Coordinate the end-to-end change management process, ensuring alignment among Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Quality.
- Define and maintain best practices for data integrity, regulatory compliance, and configuration management across multiple platforms.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration to ensure accurate and timely release of product documentation, specifications, and engineering change orders.
- Manage and refine PLM workflows and user permissions, providing training and support to internal stakeholders.
- Conduct data audits, analyze metrics, and develop process improvements to enhance efficiency and maintain high-quality standards.
- Facilitate effective communication with vendors and international teams, ensuring global alignment on product lifecycle management practices.
- Create, maintain, and update standard operating procedures, training materials, and user guides related to PLM and configuration management.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills; presentation, customer service, business, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build strong working relationships across all levels of the organization.
- Effective leadership skills needed to manage cross-functional teams successfully.
- Hands on experience with Agile, SAP, and/or Oracle bill of material, including a strong background in understanding complex product structures.
- Ability to be successful in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities.
- Broad understanding of Pure's products and services technologies is highly desired.
- Configure the Marketing SKUs with HW BOMs & SW granularity.
- Manage SKU level life cycle: create new SKUs prior to pilot, release them to production, and manage throughout their lifecycle to EOL.
- Set up Product BOMs based on manufacturing strategy such as CTO, PTO, BTO, FRU, etc.
- Work effectively with staff to VP level employees within the function, across functions and with external parties.
- Operate and drive results and set priorities independently, be a proactive contributor and subject matter expert.
- Demonstrate favorable results through regular leadership and influencing others.
- 8+ years of experience with Bachelor of Arts or Science degree (or equivalent experience)
- 8+ years of experience in configuration management within a technical (hardware, software, or manufacturing) environment.
- Strong familiarity with PLM systems (e.g., Agile, Arena, Teamcenter, or Oracle Cloud) and CAD/PDM tools (e.g., SolidWorks PDM).
- Demonstrated understanding of BOM structures, engineering change processes, and cross-functional data integration.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the capacity to influence and collaborate across diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset, adept at auditing, interpreting metrics, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Preferred experience with ERP/MRP systems, JIRA/Confluence, and compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO, GMP, RoHS, REACH).
