Packaging Lead - 2nd Shift

• Attention to detail.
• Assists Supervisor in reporting, assigning team members to rooms and answering questions/calls.
• Drive the overall performance of the packaging room/area to meet production schedule. expectations
• Delivers step by step explanations of the manufacturing, cleaning and setup processes.
• Be a role model and have leadership abilities to motivate, develop and encourage packaging team members.
• Understands and uses Redzone as a communication tool.
• Responsible for attending Redzone huddles.
• Must be able to start up room according to Batch record and Redzone.
• Lead and participate in all line changeover activities including equipment changes.
• Remove or clear any obstacles jamming the production line to ensure its efficient operation.
• Proficient understanding of GMP processes along with batch record practices and documentation, Employee and Workplace Safety.
• Provides practical and working knowledge to the team in training.
• Must have packaging room/area audit ready at all times.
• Complete Batch Record documentation and maintain all log books for packaging room/area.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives.

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• 2 years experience
• MS Office Suite
• Pallet Jack
• Machinery Skills
• Pass a background check
• Pass a Drug Test
