- Analyzing and sizing primary structure on Airbus Commercial Aircraft.
- Document analyses in support of trade studies and/or certification projects.
- Typical tools used are: Hypermesh, MS Excel, Google Suite and an Airbus proprietary analysis tool.
- In the first few months you will learn Airbus methods of sizing structure and certification documentation requirements
- You will learn the concepts of structural analysis and how to apply the concepts to structural sizing.
- Overseas placements are determined on either project need basis or employee development need. US based rotational placements will canter on Airbus Americas Engineering locations.
- Your development pathway will include a minimum of one rotational placement to support your growth into position.
- Throughout the two year development programme you will have developed into the position of Product Development Stress Engineer I!
- A degree level or equivalent within a relevant field of study
- Recently graduated or first professional experience in the field of Engineering (Aero, Civil, Mechanical) with a strong curriculum emphasis on structural design and analysis and mechanics of materials. (0 - 3 years of experience)
- Strong verbal and written communication in our business language (English)
- A desire to work in a collaborative team environment, focused on driving future innovation
- The ability to be self aware and a wish to be in the driving seat of your development.
- Ability to work in the US without current, or future, need of visa sponsorship
