If you’re passionate about protecting crews, building a culture of safety, and making a real impact on the jobsite, we want you on our team.Position SummaryThe Safety Manager is responsible for leading safety across all projects, ensuring compliance with OSHA and state regulations, and driving a proactive, people-first safety culture. This role is a mix of field presence and leadership—you’ll spend time in the field with crews while also managing programs and compliance at the company level.Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement project-specific safety plans, risk assessments, and emergency procedures.
  • Conduct regular jobsite inspections, safety audits, and hazard assessments.
  • Provide ongoing training and toolbox talks (PPE, equipment safety, hazard awareness, etc.).
  • Lead all incident reporting, investigations, and corrective action plans.
  • Track, maintain, and analyze safety records, metrics, and compliance documentation.
  • Partner with project managers, foremen, and field crews to uphold safety standards daily.
  • Stay current on OSHA standards and industry best practices.
  • Promote and reinforce a “Zero Incident” mindset across the company.
Qualifications
  • Prior experience as a Safety Manager, Safety Officer, or Safety Coordinator in construction required.
  • Strong working knowledge of OSHA standards, DOT, and construction safety regulations.
  • Excellent communication, training, and leadership skills with the ability to influence and gain buy-in from crews.
  • OSHA 30 required; additional certifications (CSP, CHST, ASP, etc.) highly preferred.
  • CPR/First Aid certification a plus.
  • Ability to work both in the office and outdoors on active construction sites.
