- Manage all aspects of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and account reconciliation.
- Oversee balance sheet reconciliation to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
- Prepare and present financial reports to senior management, highlighting key metrics and variances.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory reporting requirements and maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in governmental accounting standards.
- Implement and maintain financial software systems to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
- Conduct regular audits of financial statements to ensure adherence to double-entry bookkeeping principles.
- Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights that support organizational goals.
- Train and mentor accounting staff to enhance their skills and promote professional development.

- Proven experience as a Controller or in a similar financial management role.
- Strong knowledge of balance sheet reconciliation, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and account reconciliation processes.
- Familiarity with governmental accounting standards and regulatory reporting requirements is highly desirable.
- Proficient in financial report writing and analysis, with a solid understanding of financial software applications.
- Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey complex financial information.
