Ohio Community Health is seeking an experienced Business Development Representative to join our team! OCH is a substance use and co-occurring treatment facility that is in the midst of growth and expansion, and we need to build out a more robust Business Development team! This is a great opportunity to work alongside industry leading administrative and clinical staff members, while also having significant room for career advancement!This position is responsible for fostering relationships both within the organization and outside of it, while also being responsible for assisting in the implementation of business development strategies that meet overall organizational goals.ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
  • Plans, manages and coordinates the external relations of the organization. Plans, develops and maintains strategic alliances and relationships with other organizations that meet the needs of the Organization and its patients.
  • Cultivates and maintains professional relationships
  • Assesses strategic partnership opportunities for business development initiatives, then pursue in the development and cultivation of new strategic partners in the local area with the goal of developing reciprocal referral relationships.
  • Works alongside President in evaluating effectiveness of old marketing programs and the viability of new ones.
  • Works to achieve key target goals and develops relationships within the community to drive admissions.
  • Cultivates and maintains professional relationships.
  • Assists in the process of fielding potential admissions calls from referral sources, admissions screenings and assessments for potential admissions looking to enter OCHRC programs.
COMMUNITY RELATIONS:
  • Responsible for, and actively participates in, public education and public relations within the service area of Greater Cincinnati surrounding Ohio Community Health Recovery Centers programs. Promotes good public relations in the service area by participation in one or more local community organizations surrounding the treatment of addiction and co-occurring mental health disorders.
  • Serves as spokesperson when necessary for community relations. Represents the organization in meetings with other related community agencies, community officials and the general public.
  • MINIMUM REQUIRMENTS:
One or more years work experience in admissions, one or more years applicable experience in business development, and a minimum of two years' experience in the treatment of behavioral health/substance abuse
  • COMPETENCIES:
  • Is able to direct the process of intake calls, admissions screenings and assessments completed by admissions staff
  • Can adequately assess strategic partnership opportunities for marketing initiatives
  • Can assist to oversee marketing department's individual projects
  • Is able to evaluate effectiveness of old marketing programs and the viability of new ones
  • Is capable of determining admissions targets and developing relationships within the community to drive admissions
  • Is able to communicate prospective issues regarding client welfare as well as client retention
  • Can work in conjunction with President to identify problem areas and a plan for improvement
  • Is proficient in cultivating and maintaining professional relationships
  • PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; and use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls. Occasionally, the employee may need to kneel or crouch.
  • The employee must occasionally exert or lift up to 25 pounds. If needed, appropriate staff member will assist in carrying larger items. Successful performance requires specific vision abilities that include close vision.
