Project Location: Remote (Telework)Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Intermediate Web Software Developer (Java/J2EE) to join our team remotely. This role requires a highly skilled developer with strong expertise in Java/J2EE, Angular/React, Spring Boot, Cloud services (AWS/Azure/GCP), and CI/CD pipeline management. The ideal candidate will demonstrate advanced technical abilities, excellent problem-solving skills, and the capability to design scalable, secure, and high-performance applications. This position will involve working on high-visibility and mission-critical projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and delivering robust web applications while ensuring compliance with client and security requirements.Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, implement, and maintain Java/J2EE web applications and services.
- Build and integrate RESTful APIs using Spring Boot/Spring MVC.
- Develop modern, responsive front-end applications using Angular/React, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Implement cloud-based solutions leveraging AWS/Azure/GCP architectures and middleware services (e.g., SQS, Event Bridge).
- Configure and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps.
- Utilize AI-assisted development tools for productivity improvements (preferred).
- Work with SQL databases such as Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server.
- Analyze functional and non-functional requirements to produce detailed technical design documents.
- Ensure seamless integration of systems with client applications.
- Mentor junior developers, provide technical leadership, and oversee assigned project resources.
- Collaborate effectively with business stakeholders, technical teams, and client representatives.
- Stay current with emerging technologies, frameworks, and industry best practices.
- 5–7 years of advanced programming experience with Java/JEE, Web Services, and APIs.
- 2+ years with Angular/React front-end development.
- 2+ years with Spring/Spring Boot.
- Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs.
- Strong knowledge of cloud services, architectures, and integration with AWS/Azure/GCP.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps).
- Familiarity with AWS or Azure middleware services (SQS, Event Bridge).
- Strong understanding of component-based architecture, RXJS, and state management.
- Solid experience with SQL databases (Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and optimization skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Independent, detail-oriented, and capable of working with minimal supervision.
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools.
- Background in systems engineering, operations research, or management engineering.
- Exposure to enterprise-scale cloud-native applications.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in software development.
