Our team members thrive in a welcoming atmosphere of diversity, inclusion, and exemplary corporate practices.SummaryThe Dealer Account Representative (DAR) is responsible for ensuring that our client and/or partners are fully equipped to consistently and competitively respond to bids and requests for proposals. They will act as a subject matter expert and provide solicitation/proposal process related expertise. This is a highly networked role that is responsible for managing assigned customer relationships for MarketSource, with the goal of retaining and growing those customers by providing a personalized experience and promoting MarketSource philosophies. DAR's will educate customers on the products, services, and channels provided by MarketSource clients and actively seek opportunities to grow the relationship by recommending solutions that will meet the customers' business needs.The DAR's role will include proactively collaborating with teams, clients, customers, and internal departments to ensure that customer expectations are met or exceeded and to proactively identify opportunities for account growth.Essential Job Functions:Act as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts for providing assistance, resolving issues and facilitating requirements to enhance company's position in existing and target accountsDevelop and execute a plan to grow revenue of assigned accounts while seeking new businessAnalyze opportunities, identify key personnel, and develop strong business relationshipsDevelop a territory management plan to maximize time with customersDevelop strategies, proposals, and forecastsSeek to improve customer experience and productivity by collecting, analyzing, identifying, and presenting informationDevelop and conduct product demonstrations and presentationsPrepare quotes and customer correspondencesUtilize online resources to maintain accurate records of calls, customer files, & activity informationDiscuss activities with managerPartner with designated representatives on calls for assigned accountsPrioritize and identify more critical and less critical activities and tasks; adjusts priorities when appropriateEffectively schedule in coordination with peers, clients etc. and allocate time to complete workWork with manager to ensure a consistent and effective customer experience, appropriate transaction processing, high customer satisfaction and service levelsRequired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Self-starter with the ability to seek opportunities to go above and beyond job requirements in order to achieve stated goals and objectivesEffective communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills requiredAbility to engage customers in a consultative manner and effectively recommend additional products and servicesAbility to work in a high performance, fast-paced team environmentProficiency in Microsoft Office, SalesForce.com, internet research and web based presentation skillsAbility to adapt to and work effectively within a constantly changing environmentExcellent customer service and problem-solving skills requiredAbility to function as a solid team player and work closely with teammates, field sales, and customer care to create a superior customer experienceAbility to take independent action, implement new ideas or potential solutions without prompting; does not wait for others to take action or to request actionJob Requirements:Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree
