- Build, test, and maintain an electronic health record system.
- Define, document, diagram and integrate workflows and processes.
- Be able to work independently with internal and external customers and vendors.
- Define and develop reports as needed using report writers such as Crystal Reports.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and maintain deliverable timelines.
- Assist and train end-users in functionality, security and information extraction.
- Troubleshoot end-user problems.
- Interpret and transform end-user needs to new or modified package components.
- Maintain a secure working environment to protect confidential information and adhere with HIPAA and other regulatory standards.
- Communicate with Manager and team regarding priorities, needs, and potential projects.
- Maintain up to date technical product knowledge and learn new technologies as required.
- Maintain an understanding of current and evolving standards such as privacy, confidentiality, accessibility, security and intellectual property rights.
- Four-year Computer Science or similar technical degree required. Equivalent experience will be considered.
- Experience utilizing and maintaining an Electronic Health Record system.
- Microsoft Operating System and Office Suite experience
- Application development and programming skills
- Experience with SQL
- Sensitivity in relating to persons of varying backgrounds and the ability to work with diverse groups of people possessing various strengths, aptitudes and abilities.
- Ability to perform job responsibilities with a high degree of initiative and judgment.
- Demonstrate oral and written communication skills and effective interpersonal skills.
- Practical and creative problem-solving skills.
- Experience working in a healthcare organization
- Experience with a Netsmart EHR product
- Experience with Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and Data Warehouse
- Experience with InterSystems Cache database
