
Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant – Interventional Radiology

- Practice in a dynamic and challenging subspecialty working in close collaboration with interventional radiologists, nurses, technologists and other advanced practice providers
- Care for patients in both the inpatient and outpatient settings referred to UW Health - Interventional Radiology with acute and chronic illness such as vascular disorders, hepatobiliary disease, acute bleeding, cancer, end-stage renal failure, renal outflow disorders and need for central venous access.
- Perform minor procedures inclusive of paracenteses, central line removals, drain manipulation/removals, G-tube exchanges and other minor procedures as deemed necessary to optimize patient care.
- Perform triage, new patient consultation and daily rounding as an integral member of our expanding inpatient interventional radiology consult service
- Active RN and APRN certifications and licenses, including prescriptive authority, in state(s) of practice AND
- Active board certification as a NP in area of clinical practice. These may include the following: Adult/Gero Primary Care, Adult, or Family.
- Active PA license, including prescriptive authority, in state(s) of practice AND
- Active PA board certification
